About 70 women were arrested in Abuja on Saturday, 27th April 2019, during a police raid on nightclubs, and they were believed to be prostitutes. Later on, it was discovered that some of the women were subjected to abuse and assault in the hands of the Nigerian police. This has sparked reactions from Nigerians on twitter who have asked a lot of questions about the whole affair, and throw insults at the Nigerian police.
